Mittermeier, a leading primatologist and longtime chairman of the Primate Specialist Group of the World Conservation Unions Species Survival Commission . The Microcebus Mittermeieri is a hamster-like primate with pointy ears and round auburn eyes and is one of three new mouse lemurs discovered in Madagascars tropical forest in recent years by researchers Mireya Mayor and Edward Louis and their Malagasy colleagues.
